I work in an empathic way, aiming to understand your situation from your point of view. I will help you to understand how you relate to yourself and other people because of your personal experiences. It is important to me that you feel seen, heard and understood so whatever you bring is relevant and we will work at your pace.
About me and my practice
I initially went to a counselling skills course to find out how to help friends and family who were having a difficult time. I very quickly realised that having someone who is not a friend or family member providing a safe place to explore challenging situations and complicated feelings is a powerful process and became fascinated by learning about human behaviour. Starting to apply what I was learning to myself and my own way of relating, I realised I had become stuck in many unhelpful, habitual patterns. Throughout my process I have found inner child work very valuable in finding out who I am and how I want to live my life as an adult. Where appropriate I find it a privilege to facilitate clients in their own inner child work.
